Creating A Natural Permanent Eyebrow Result That Is In Keeping With The Clients Makeup Style
This lady wears her makeup quite prominent. She wanted her eyebrows thickened up, as they were quite thin naturally, and reshaped. The most natural way to do this is to create a natural hair stroke effect to fill in the sparse area of the eyebrow and create structure and shape. However this technique would not be a strong enough effect for this particular client as she has very dark brown hair and wears her lipstick and eyebrows quite striking and bold. Therefore the natural hair simulation technique would not be in keeping with the rest of her look.
Although this client likes her makeup bolder than can be achieved with permanent makeup, she now has a beautiful permanent eyebrow shape, the colour is dark but translucent, meaning she will look fantastic without any makeup on, and if she would like to create a stronger colour density she can apply a little powder or pencil on top.

Although the eyebrow looks very dark and blocked in (see picture below) this is immediately after and within 3-5 days the colour will turn soft and transparent with a very bold effect like this. To keep the brows looking natural but still super sleek and perfect I apply only hair strokes at the front of the brow. This will create a graduated colour effect and stop this perfect look from looking false.

These are the brow powder colours that would suit the client’s skin tone, hair colour and makeup style. Once the procedure is healed the colour it will fade to will be similar to the third colour from the left. Every bodies skin heals slightly different because of their own natural undertones. In 6 weeks the client will come back for her complimentary appointment where I will check the undertones and amend the colour if necessary. I will also add another layer of colour as the first appointment will heal a little too light.
The brows look thick and bold immediately after due to a little swelling. The shape will shrink by up to 20% and the colour will soften by up to 70%. The colour will fade gradually over the years and the client can come back for a colour booster every year or two.
