I decided to apply a technique called natural hair simulation which is the lightest and most natural looking effect for this type of client. With white haired women I apply 3 different colours to create an optical illusion of having 3 dimensional hairs rather than just one flat colour.
Both the client herself and her husband were very happy with the result and it has saved her so much time each morning. Now all she has to do is return to me every year or two for a colour touch as they fade out in the sunshine.
Although the immediately after colour looks very dark, within 4 or 5 days the colour will soften by around 70% turning to a soft translucent caramel taupe colour to match the clients white hair. The colour will fade gradually over the years and the client can come back for a colour booster every year or two.
Immediately After Having An 18 Month Colour boost, the colour will fade to soft Taupe caramel in 3 to 5 days
