Permanent Makeup Watercolour Lip Blush
A Healthy Soft Pink Lip Tint To Brighten The Whole Face
This lovely lady came in after she decided she would like a permanent colour on her lips so that she didn’t have to keep constantly applying lip stick. At the consultation stage the client was concerned that the result would be far too obvious and over the top for her age. She wanted to stay as natural looking as possible as she gets older.
To put the clients mind at ease on the first session, myself and the client together selected a very natural and subtle nude tone which we darkened 6 weeks later at the touch up appointment.
I always say to clients that want a very subtle hint of colour that with permanent make up ‘I can always add more colour later, but its very hard to take away’, so I build up the colour intensity of lips over 2 sessions to ensure the client always get the exact colour she wants.
Softening The Natural Shape Of The Cupids Bow
The lip contour has been altered slightly to round off the natural point to the cupids bow. Although the lip colour looks perfect immediately after treatment, within 4 or 5 days the colour will soften by around 70% turning translucent and the client will need another layer of colour. The colour will fade gradually over the years and the client can come back for a colour booster every year or two. This client loved the result of her procedure so much that as soon as she got home she booked her daughter to come in and see me for eyebrows the next day.

Clients Favourite Lip Gloss Brought In At The Second Appointment
These are the colours that the client like to wear. The first one on the left is too dark and cannot be achieved permanently. The second one is too light. This procedure will heal to the effect of the third from the left.
Note: This client also wears mauve colour which we stay away from in permanent makeup as it heals very blue in the lip making client look too cold.
