Permanent Makeup Watercolour Lip Blush
“After Seeing My Brides-To-Be Permanent Makeup Results I Booked Myself In Too!”
This client was a top celebrity, film and bridal makeup artist in London and never liked the look of permanent makeup until she was working on one particular bride. She asked the bride-to-be before she started on her makeup, how she looked so good without any makeup on at all. The bride had just finished having the full face of permanent makeup which includes eyebrows, upper and lower eyeliner, & Lips done with me in preparation for her wedding day and beyond. After taking a real close up inspection she got my office number from the bride and booked herself in that night.
This client wanted a lip gloss effect and wore reds and corals. She didn’t want to see any heavy lines but just a soft blush of colour. Although the colour looks very vibrant immediately after treatment, she will loose 70% and the colour will turn translucent giving her the effect she wanted. In 6 weeks we will intensify the colour again with another layer.
Allergy Testing Prior to Permanent Makeup
Although all our colours are hypoallergenic, supplied to 40 countries worldwide and are most popular choice for the medical profession, I always insist that a client have an allergy test before coming for treatment. I have never had any client have an allergic reaction to the patch test. The patch test can be done at home by the client or they can come into the clinic. The process simply involves scratching the surface of the skin, on the arm or behind the ear, and applying a small dot of pigment mixed with topical anesthetic. After 12 hours of no reaction then they can have treatment.
A Note To Cold Sore Sufferers
Before any lip procedure those who are prone to cold sores are asked to use their usual cream or medication to prevent a cold sore immediately after having any permanent lip procedures. Any trauma to the lip will bring out a cold sore in cold sore sufferers.
